Directly opposite the four-star Hotel Kramerwirt is this, the Försterhaus annexe building. The rooms are comfortable and simply furnished yet spacious enough for families and groups. Guests have full use of the main hotel so you get the facilities of a four-star hotel at three-star prices.

You'll find the best views of the resort and mountains at the main hotel's rooftop spa. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of skiing or boarding. There are also saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs you can use for a local charge.

The main hotel has been beautifully renovated since its days as the village inn nearly 400 years ago. It's situated just off Mayrhofen's main high street with a ski bus stop on the doorstep so you couldn't be more central. About a ten-minute walk from the hotel is the ultra-modern high-speed Penken gondola. From here you have access to great snow and over 500kms of pistes.

The rooftop spa is quite a special place. The views extend out across the resort and up to the towering, snow-capped peaks. The facilities include a steam room, relaxation areas, hot tub and saunas. As you're on holiday, take advantage of the massage and beauty treatments that are available.

There's is a local charge to use the wellness facilities and treatments, but you can book and pay for them locally.

The rooms in the annexe are spacious, private and simply decorated with lots of natural light. Some rooms sleep two to four and there are also interconnecting twin rooms that are great for families. Each room, or pair of rooms, has a TV and an en-suite with shower.

Meals: Hotel Kramerwirt Annexe food & drink

All of your half board meals are taken in the main Hotel Kramerwirt. There's a hot and cold buffet breakfast and the evening meal is four courses with three choices of main and a salad buffet. If you book over Christmas or New Year, the dining areas are full of festive decorations, gala dinners are included and there is live music.

The restaurant has different dining areas so you can choose to eat in the cosy, rustic lounges or in bright, open spaces with large windows. Most tastes are catered for and the chef often serves produce from the family farm, fishery and hunting grounds.

We update Hotel Kramerwirt Annexe's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

"Pleasantly surprised with everything"

When we chose the Annexe we weren’t sure what it was going to be like, but it was literally perfect, with everything we could have possibly wanted. You come out of the Kramerwirt Hotel and the annexe is 25 yards across the road – it was absolutely lovely and I can’t complain about a thing! Literally when you come out of the Annexe, the bus stop is probably about 15 yards away. You have an A bus, a B bus and a C bus that take you to different lifts and they come every 15 minutes or so. You can also walk up to / back from the lifts if you prefer. We had breakfasts and dinners over at the main hotel. 10/10 to those – breakfasts included everything you could have wanted, hot or cold and enough to not even need lunch most days. They gave you a menu in the morning with options for the evening so no food was wasted. The staff were all great. They would happily bring you something different altogether or replace part of the meal if you didn’t like one of the ingredients. We had a four course meal every night including the biggest cheese board I’ve seen in my life! Even when we were coming home and had to get up at 4am, they laid out a breakfast for everyone with teas, coffee, cereal, toast etc.

"5/5!"
