Just an hour's transfer from Innsbruck. There are 145km of slopes available in the Ski Juwel ski area, of which Niederau is a small village found in one valley. The rest of the domain is accessible in neighbouring valleys by a ski bus. An area lift pass is included for all guests, encapsulating the excellent value for money on offer for short breaks.
The 3* Hotel Harfenwirt is found in a superb slope-side position, right next to the Tennladen lift, surrounded by mountains and forests in the picturesque Wildschönau Valley.
There are 88 spacious bedrooms, furnished in a traditional Tyrolean style. All rooms have a balcony to enjoy the views, as well as a flat-screen satellite TV, radio, telephone, refrigerator and ensuite bathroom (shower cubicle or bath) and WC. The restaurant at Hotel Harfenwirt includes a sun terrace and serves classic Austrian cuisine and Tyrolean specialities. Half-board includes a breakfast buffet and a 3-course dinner with a choice of main course.
A ski storage room is available on site. Cross-country ski runs pass right behind the hotel if you fancy trying something different, and the free ski bus serving the entire valley stops just outside the hotel. You'll also have access to an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and a hot tub. Massages can be booked at Reception, and paid for on the spot.

The ski area is located within the Wildschonau Valley and part of the Ski Juwel area which includes the resorts of Oberau, Auffach and Alpbach making up 109km of varied terrain linked by ski bus and a new 8 man Gondola at Auffach.
