Overview: hotel description: Hotel Gustavia description

Meal Basis: Bed & Breakfast (Half-Board upgrade available)
Hotel Gustavia is located in a historic building, dating back to 1890, situated bang opposite Chamonix's main train station and close to a wide variety of bars and restaurants near the historic centre of Chamonix Mont-Blanc. Bedrooms are minimalist in style and many offer superb views of Mont-Blanc or the Aiguilles Rouges. We can offer double, twin, triple or quad rooms and this hotel is ideally suited to short breaks.

The hotel has its own restaurant and is also home to the hugely popular & lively après-ski bar Chambre 9, which is often bursting at the seams after skiing. This style and atmosphere may suit a younger crowd looking for a vibrant place to stay (some noise from the bar may be heard).

Your base package includes breakfast (an extensive buffet is laid on each morning with hot and cold items). You can also upgrade to half-board and dine in Brasserie Chambre 9, where you'll be served a set-menu 3-course dinner including starter, main course and dessert each evening.

The legendary 17km Chamonix Valley is located in the north-west Alps nearby the Swiss and Italian borders. Set at the foot of the stunning Mont Blanc and surrounded by breath-taking views of the Mont Blanc massif, this town is not only one of the most beautiful places in the Alps (it's one of the most Instagrammed ski resorts in Europe) but also offers fantastically diverse skiing and snowboarding experience. It's said to be the world capital of mountaineering and skiing, functioning as a holiday destination all...
Having hosted the first-ever Winter Olympics in 1924, Chamonix is a Mecca for advanced skiers worldwide (even James Bond was here in The World is Not Enough). There really is an endless amount to discover, especially for the more capable. For the ultimate in alpine adventure, get a guide, clue up on avalanche safety, and you'll have an unforgettable experience. Because of the superb advanced terrain, it's often wrongly assumed that Cham' serves novices poorly. There are 4 great beginner areas: one in the to...
Not only world-famous for its terrain, but Chamonix also has renowned après ski too with a vibrant atmosphere to soak up after a day on the hill. Spend an evening at chic Le Privilege, sample the amazing cocktails at Clubhouse or enjoy tasty food and lively evenings at The Jekyll or Micro Brasserie. There are some great fine-dining venues for serious culinary indulgence, including Michelin starred Auberge du Bois Prin and Albert 1er. Good Italian restaurants in Chamonix include l'Impossible, and there are lots ...
