The Hotel Edelweiss is a lovely traditional hotel where you'll receive a typical Austrian welcome. With a convenient location in the centre of Götzens everything you need will be in easy reach and the hotel has excellent facilities of its own including an indoor pool. The hotel consists of two connected buildings, and bedrooms can be in either.

Axamer Lizum is a snow-sure ski resort located south-west of Innsbruck. Boasting a top altitude of 2340m, it’s the highest resort in the area and one of the highest in Austria. Surrounded by attractive forestry, this scenic village is fairly small, quiet and mostly traffic free with traditional Austrian architecture. The resort is conveniently positioned 25km from Innsbruck and is a short transfer from the nearest airport. Whilst it’s primarily a haven for intermediate and advanced skiers, Axamer Lizum also accommodates well for beginners with brilliant ski schools and some good quality nursery slopes at the base of the mountain. The beginner’s slopes are considered fairly challenging for those completely new to the sport, but being thrown into the deep end is an excellent way to learn and once you’ve learned to ski here, you’re likely to find other resorts a doddle.
