Overview: hotel description: Hotel Astoria description

Looking to stay somewhere simple with quick access to the slopes? Well, the Astoria fits the bill. It’s a traditional place right next to the Plan Maison lift, so you can be one of the first on the piste each morning.

The rooms are comfy and colourful, with plenty of storage space. When you’re not sleeping or skiing, you can spend time in the bar, catching up over drinks or playing a game of pool. Or head off to warm up in the outdoor hot tub or sauna.

Mealtimes follow the traditional theme too. In the mornings, you can graze from a buffet of eggs, bacon, breads and sweet treats. And evening meals are full of local dishes made with produce from local farms.

Take the chair lift up to Plan Torrette to get a feel for the gentler blue runs. This is a great place for children to learn as ski schools take young skiers up magic carpets and around a whole new world of slopes. A bucket load of intermediate runs means that already accomplished...
