· 1 minute’s walk to the resort centre · 3 minutes’ walk to the Silvrettabahn gondola · 3 minutes’ walk to the ski bus stop
The Abendrot’s hard to beat if location is your top priority. Step outside and walk a few steps to get the main Silvrettabahn gondola each morning. And in the evenings, you’re moments from all the après action in the resort centre.
Inside, it’s a case of modern meets traditional when it comes to the décor. Crisp, white walls and colourful artwork make the bedrooms feel bright and inviting. Head downstairs, and there’s a classic Tyrolean look – think pinewood panelling on the walls and ceiling. It’s one of the smaller hotels in the resort, and the friendly staff give the place a welcoming feel, whether they’re pouring your favourite tipple at the bar or serving up plates of regional fare in the dining room.
As for extras, there’s not a long list. Head to the comfy lounge kick back with a game of cards or to refresh those ski muscles, grab a towel and lie back in the sauna or steam room.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
