While you won’t find a main hub of restaurants, bars and accommodation, a stay in one of the villages gives you a more ski-focussed, budget friendly week on the mountains. "Best hotel we've stayed in, we've been spoiled!"

Hoey, McKnight and Brook party
5/ out of 5
We had a brilliant week away, the Grand Aigle is the best hotel we’ve ever been to! We all really liked it and feel a bit spoiled really, nowhere else is going to be as good... The staff were lovely, the food was lovely – everything was very nice! The hotel’s really modern (I think it had been recently renovated) and was all done up nicely. It’s nearly ski in, ski out, although the run back was quite hard so some of us did have to walk a bit, which wasn’t a problem. We could walk down into the town and then carry on a bit further to some really nice, un-touristy parts. Our bedroom was fine, we were sharing with our 16 year old and it had a sliding door after his bed which meant he had his own space, so it was perfect really.
