Overview - chalet description - Chalet Fontanet description

Fontanet is a luxurious duplex apartment proudly positioned in the heart of Verbier.

Sleeping 13 people in six bedrooms, the apartment is spread over the first and second floors of the prestigious Sagittiare building on Chemin des Vernes. A stunning indoor swimming pool, hammam, and gym on the ground floor are shared between the apartments in the building.
Ideally located just a five-minute walk from the Médran lift and a two-minute walk from the centre of town, you could not wish for a more desirable location.
The elegant living and dining areas occupy the second floor of the apartment. Traditional alpine materials are sensitively combined with contemporary sophisticated design, creating a wonderful atmosphere in which to relax and entertain after skiing.
By day, sunlight floods in through the floor to ceiling sliding doors and the views of the surrounding snow-covered peaks are simply breathtaking.
By night, sink into the sumptuous sofas in front of the roaring fire and enjoy a glass of champagne before dinner. Beautiful chandeliers sit over the grand dining table which can comfortably seat 14 people.
The large kitchen overlooks the billiard room which can be closed off from the main living area to create maximum privacy for guests. There is also a cosy TV snug adorned with rugs and cushions and a guest toilet adjacent to the billiard room.

Fontanet has all the latest technology equipment including plasma TV’s, Nintendo Wii, a networked DVD library, Sky TV, and a central music system.
The sleeping floor occupies the first floor of the apartment. All of the bedrooms have stylish en-suite facilities and have been designed to ensure maximum comfort.
There are four super-king/twin bedrooms, a double bedroom, and a bunk room sleeping three, suitable for children or adults. Four of the bedrooms have sliding doors which open out onto the wrap-around balcony.
Rest assured you will feel refreshed and relaxed after spending a week at Fontanet. The spa on the ground floor is one of a kind; luxurious and sleek; there is a swimming pool with massage jets, hammam, shower room, relaxation area, and massage room. Overlooking the swimming pool is the gym and stretching area which has all the latest fitness equipment and technology.
There are two indoor parking spaces at the property. On the garage level there is a large ski room with heated boot warmers. A lift runs through the building, opening onto each floor of the apartment.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
