"Return trip to the Crazy Reindeer"

Mr T. Waters, Derby
5/ out of 5
We have stayed in the Crazy Reindeer for 5 years on the trot, and over our visits we’ve met people who have been returning for longer than we have! It’s a very good hotel, I like everything about it! To be fair there are no set things that are better than others, it’s clean, warm and has a very pleasant atmosphere. It’s very easy to get around Levi from the hotel’s location (Levi is tiny, you can walk around the whole thing in ten minutes). I’d recommend it to other families.

"A hotel with everything you need"

This is a 3 star hotel with everything you need! It’s in a good place with everything within walking distance, nice and relaxing for an enjoyable week. We stayed here as a couple but I would say that it’s a good place for everyone. Only a 15 minute transfer to the resort itself which shows you how easy it is to get around here.

"On the whole a good week"

Mrs Ward, Leicestershire

The food was really good and you could always find something to eat, it was like a hot buffet with 2 or 3 different choices and there was always a salad bar. The staff were friendly and spoke English well. Our room was a bit small but we didn’t complain – we had 2 singles and my daughter had a drop down bed which wasn’t ideal for a 16 year old to sleep on for a whole week. Other than the fact that it was a bit confined, it was very clean. The hotel is very hot but our room had an air vent window which you could open and cooled the room down very quickly. In terms of location, the Crazy Reindeer is fabulous as you’re 7 minutes from the town and could walk to the slopes. Although it was snowy, the roads were very well looked after.

"Our 4th stay"

Nicola Nuttall

This is a really good option for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness and ease. The staff are friendly, the food is generally really good and there is plenty of choice, The atmosphere is informal but the hotel is well maintained. There is a nice sauna and hot tub area, pleasant reception rooms and the bedrooms, though simple, are comfortable and very clean. They have a fridge and kettle etc, so very handy for those moments after ski-ing when you are exhausted and just want a cuppa and a snack. The bus stops right outside the hotel. There is a supermarket across the way and it is a 5 minute walk to the north slopes. We have stayed 4 times in 5 years and we are not people to ever go to the same place/resort, but Levi, and this hotel, are a home from home in stunning surroundings and only a 15 minute transfer from the airport. Perfect!

"Great, just a few issues with our room"

Anon, Cumbria
4/ out of 5
Our bedroom was small with adults staying there. It was a bit shoddy and tired but the lack of space was the main issue, maybe it would be less cramped with children rather than adults but with so little room we had to keep everything in our bags and kept tripping over them. When we arrived the fold out bed was broken and the shower was leaking, however as soon as I informed them they came and fixed it straight away. However the good thing about our stay was that the rest of the hotel was great! We didn’t have to spend too much time in the room as we could sit in the lounge, my son could use the gym and we could use the sauna. The food was lovely. I don’t eat meat, only fish - and there was always a fish dish available as well as a meat dish, with something different served every day. Although it was a bit difficult carting our skis about, the location was generally fine.
