Overview: hotel description: Copperhill Mountain Lodge description

Meal Basis: Half-Board
The Copperhill Mountain Lodge is undoubtedly one of Åre's finest design hotels, in a superb ski-in/out location on top of Förberget Mountain. Stylish, luxurious and with incredible architecture, the hotel will be a favourite for those looking for high standards, great service and beautifully-presented rooms.
There are 112 bedrooms and suites available, of varying size and facilities. Suites offer absolutely incredible views. Our Bronze double rooms are the lead-in room type and have a double bed, bathroom with WC, 40" LCD TV, Playstation 3, safe, tea & coffee-making facilities and hairdryer, iron and board, bathrobes and free Wi-Fi. The Copper Suite is more suited to couples wanting more space or a family with young children since it has a double bed, bunk beds, and all of the features of the Bronze room but including a SMEG kitchenette.
A nutritious, organic and rich breakfast buffet is included in your package. The hotel serves, among other things, fresh fruit, freshly cooked porridge with the aroma of spices, homemade jams, bacon, sausages and eggs, carefully selected meats and cheeses, juices and homemade bread.
In the evenings, your half-board dinner will be taken in the hotel's Niesti restaurant, which uses fresh, seasonal produce and traditional culinary practices in each of its dishes. The included meal plan is a 2-course set menu.
There is a large lobby bar with fireplace, the perfect spot for relaxing in the evenings over drinks or listening to music. The spa area features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot springs and saunas, all with panoramic mountain views over Åreskuten and is included in your package price. Face and body treatments can also be booked, while a private area can be reserved for 2 guests. Additional treatments are payable on the spot. A fitness room is also accessible by hotel guests. The hotel operates a free shuttle service to the slopes while the lifts are open.

Excellent snow record Chic village base Big ski area for N. Europe

As one of Scandinavia’s biggest ski areas, this place has incredible offerings for families (and everyone else for that matter), with a trendy and relaxed village to come home to at the end of the day. Reindeer roam the forests and the northern lights sometimes appear at night. We love this part of the world.

People describe Åre (pronounce it ‘Aw-ra’) as a pint sized version of a big city – there are oodles of restaurants, shops and the like surrounding the main square, but you still get that cosy feel that Scandi mountain villages are loved for. Life here’s a lot more laid back than you find in the bigger European resorts – despite being Sweden’s biggest and best place to ski, everything stays wonderfully smart and unhurried. Accommodation is spread across a number of different bases. Åre By (at th...
There are three ski areas, Åre Village, Björnen and Duved. The first two are lift linked, while the third can be reached by ski bus. Åre Village has Northern Europe’s biggest vertical drop, with a fine mix of runs streaming down the Åreskutan mountain into the village centre. The ski school meets in Rödkullen, which is also home to the snow park with its various rail lines and a smaller park for children. Above it, Ullådalen has a gentle green and blue. From the top of the Åreskutan, red runs meet b...
Bygget’s been one of the biggest party spots here for decades, with a stage for live music events, dance floors and SIX bars. The club runs Veranda which is a spot for more traditional après ski, also with live bands and an electric atmosphere. Timmerstugan’s another good ‘un – a handy place to meet up for drinks and snacks by the gondola base station. The Creperie & Logi is one of our favourite post-ski pit stops in these parts, where we could feast on the cheesy galettes and chocolatey crepes all day...
