Location: where is Chalet Zebra

Six minutes stroll from the centre of Meribel, two minutes walk to the infamous O’Sullivans (Dick’s T- Bar of late). The pistes at La Chaudanne are two minutes away by our Merishuttle chauffeur service.

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Zebra description

Newly renovated for us in 2014, Zebra is nicely nestled in the sought after chalet quarter and a short walk from our flagship Chalet Bellacima. A large suspended central fireplace dominates the living area with outsized comfortable sofas and floor to ceiling glass. The accommodation is generously spread over three floors with abundant wrap around terraces. The bathrooms have huge walk-in showers and the bedrooms have flat screen TVs. There is a small TV lounge and massive outdoor sauna and ubiquitous sunken hot tub.

Chalet Zebra provides comfortable accommodation for twelve in six en suite bedrooms. The dedicated chalet hosts will prepare daily delights at breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, allowing you to sit back, relax, and make the absolute most of your ski holiday.

Little Zebra is located across the terrace and up a flight of stone steps, and so the two chalets together are a perfect choice for a larger group of 16.

Meals: Chalet Zebra food & drink

Our Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. The new and refined menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

All our holidays include;

  • Continental breakfast with a cooked option on 6 mornings
  • Afternoon tea will be left in the chalet for you to help yourself to freshly made cake or biscuits, bread & jams, selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate
  • Canapés on the first and last evening
  • 3 course evening meal (6 nights) followed by cheese board and coffee
  • A choice of red and white wine is served throughout dinner
We update Chalet Zebra's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made, and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A traditional alpine village with choc-box chale...
Meribel is one of the best ski resorts to learn in. There are three beginner areas known as 'Ski Facile' (easy ski) plus great green pistes to practise on including Le Foret and Altiport. Both runs are carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings. If you're skiing with children, there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees at the 'Pistes des Animaux' where children can learn about local wildlife as they e...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes can be as varied as the day spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It's said that you haven't experienced après ski here (or anywhere for that matter) until you've sampled toffee vodka in Le Rond Point, which is easily one of the most famous après ski bars in the world - complete with a slide down to the toilets! Meribel's rightly famous for its nightl...

"Late season snowboard trip"

Booked a last minute trip i.e. booked at 12:00 on Saturday, left on Sunday morning the next day. Sno provided a great booking experience even liasing with the airlines to authorise an Avi Bag. The chalet staff were great and very attentive, probably the best chalet dinners I have had over the years. All in all no complaints, and a good trip. Will use Sno again next time.
