It’s a nice chalet, with lovely clean rooms and a fantastic location. The food was really nice and the chalet staff were great and really accommodating. Location: where is Chalet Tirol

Excellent location in the heart of the village, approx. 2 minutes walk (200m) to the main Penken cable-car - newly upgraded for this winter.

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Tirol description

Sleeps: 20-26 Guests

We are delighted to introduce Chalet Tirol to our programme for the coming winter as, not only does it enjoy a prime location close to the main ski-lift in the very heart of vibrant Mayrhofen, but it is to be upgraded specially for guests, with the addition of a new separate lounge in which to relax before and after dinner.

This comfortable and homely chalet in traditional Tirolean style occupies the upper two floors of the house, above a shop and the popular ‘Café Tirol'. Run by the owners, completely separately to the chalet, it's the most amazingly convenient place for dinner on your Chalet Hosts’ one night off per week.

"Amazing staff!"

Sam
5/ out of 5
Really good chalet, the staff were amazing and made the holiday. There were about 3 birthdays whilst we were there and they really put in the effort, making a cake each time. The chef Alex didn’t have any formal training but put in an extra effort into each meal, we had 3 courses each evening and they were all good – no one had any issues. I had a little single room which was nice and big enough for me. The chalet has a new lounge area which is quite good (they didn’t have one before). It’s only a two minute walk to the lift and the bus stop is right outside for access to other places.

"Nice, but noisy at night."

It’s a nice chalet, with lovely clean rooms and a fantastic location. The food was really nice and the chalet staff were great and really accommodating. However it was far too noisy and for that reason we wouldn’t stay again. All the guest mentioned the noise in the feedback form at the end of the week. There was noise from the street and the restaurant next door; they kept leaving the door open and we could hear such a racket with pots and pans clattering around. We asked the staff to close the door but there was still noise going on well after 11 at night. Mayrhofen itself is such a lovely place – really pretty with great skiing, it was just the noise that let the holiday down.

"THE BEST SKI HOLIDAY EVER ! ! !"
