St Anton. Chalet Stilvoll is the perfect choice for skiers keen to be close to the very centre of this world class resort. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the atmospheric pedestrian zone with its painted buildings, Austrian coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Overview: chalet description: Chalet Stilvoll description

Formerly a family-run guest house (Haus Midland) this attractive, traditional building has been converted into two stylish chalet apartments, with Chalet Stilvoll occupying the ground and first floors, whilst its smaller sister Chalet Zierlich occupies the second floor.

Chalet Stilvoll enjoys 2 large communal spaces which would be the envy of many other chalets. The modernstube(or ‘parlour’) with flat screen TV serves as the sitting room for the chalet with wooden bench seating and tables, and there is a separate traditional Tirolean dining room, both popular venues for evening gatherings before the short stroll to the centre of this outstanding resort. Both communal rooms have been recently refurbished, as has room 1 on the ground floor. All bedrooms are comfortable, en suite and of a similar standard and aspect. All have satellite TV, are light and airy and most have a balcony. It is an excellent choice for groups because of the similarity of the bedrooms. Children pay half price when using the third bed in room 4, making this a great choice for families.

The chalet entrance is shared with Chalet Zierlich and the chalet owners who live on the top floor. Guests staying in rooms 2 - 5 will access the communal areas through the shared lobby. The exterior door to the building is lockable, as are the bedroom doors.

Due to local regulations, we are no longer able to offer social skiing by our staff in St Anton. We are able however to offer one day's social skiing in Sonnenkopf (for a small transport fee, subject to demand and weather conditions).

Both chalets Zierlich and Stilvoll can be taken by a group of up to 17, but each group can only dine in their individual chalets. Click here to view Chalet Zierlich.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...
The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...
