Location: where is Chalet Rose

Given that Chalet Rose is located in Plagne Centre, naturally it is at the centre of everything you need. Overlooking the Plagne Centre pistes and the ski school meeting points, your access to some top notch ski and boarding is just as easy to reach as can be. Located on the second floor of the Orée des Pistes building, you are beside the Oxygéne Ski School and within a snowballs throw of the many shops and restaurants that the area has on offer.

Enjoying the best of both worlds, Chalet Rose is perfectly located for those who want to hit the slopes without too much hassle but can also boast easy access to some of the most popular aprés-ski spots including the much loved Scotty’s bar the Igloo bar, both less than a five minute walk away.

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Rose description

Chalet Rose is a smaller, more intimate chalet than some of the others in the area. There is however, ample amounts of space and it provides a comfortable, cosy, alpine atmosphere for those who stay here. Decorated in the traditional Savoyard style with a warming oak interior, Chalet Rose is more than welcoming after an active day on the slopes.

There is an open plan lounge and dining area creating space and ensuring that there is room for all guests to sit and relax after or indeed before a successful days skiing or boarding. With access to a wonderful south facing balcony guests can enjoy an incredible view of the Plagne Centre slopes. This is the perfect spot for taking in the fresh alpine air and enjoying some of that winter sunshine.

The living area is well decorated with guests’ comfort in mind. There is plenty of seating with couches all angled towards the flat screen TV and more importantly, an essential part of your ski chalet stay, a large fireplace. Evenings can be spent curled up on the couches in front of the roaring fire, perhaps with a glass of wine in hand- it’s the perfect way to end a day in the snow if you simply haven’t got the energy for much else.

Chalet Rose consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms. Room 1 is a triple en-suite room with a double bed and bunk beds. Room 3 is a triple en-suite room with twin beds and bunk beds. If you are taking sole occupancy of Chalet Rose, the chalet can accommodate an additional two children under twelve.

Rooms 1 and 2 can take a cot.

In the French Alps' Savoie region, La Plagne was established in the early sixties and now consists of 11 villages: 7 purpose built villages and 4 traditional villages. The aptly named Plagne Centre at the heart of the resort is the main hub of shops, restaurants and après ski. Just underneath lies Plagne 1800, a cluster of chalets spread across a steep hillside. Higher up are Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne-Soleil and Plagne-Villages, all accessible via chairlifts from Plagne Centre. Plagne Bellecote rests over a l...
There are plenty of nursery slopes with access to free beginner lifts and a wide choice of different ski schools for those new to skiing. The slopes around the Belle Plagne area are particularly suitable for beginners. The blue run linking Les Bauches to Montchavin provides a manageable step up in difficulty from the nursery slopes. For those who class themselves as intermediate skiers, La Plagne is paradise. 77% of the runs are graded either blue or red. Particular favourites are the run from La Grand Roch...
It might not rival Val d'sere or Verbier for their wild party scenes, but this is an exceptional resort for unique après ski opportunities. Try snowmobiling at night, ice climbing in Champagny, husky sledding, paragliding, extreme tobogganing and more! One experience not to be missed is the bobsleigh track, used for Olympic training. There are various ways you can choose to go down it, but they are all guaranteed to give you a thrill as you will hurtle down at speeds ranging from 80 km/hr up to a lightening 120...
