This package holiday to Chalet Rosalie Two in Meribel & Mottaret, France departs Saturday 23rd December 2017, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A trad alpine village with choc-box chalets, th...
With three beginner areas known as ‘Zen Zones' plus some good greens to practice on including Le Foret, Altiport and the Cool Moon area (carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings), Meribel's one of the best ski resorts to learn in. If you're skiing with little ones there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees. Moon Wild is a special area where children can learn about local wildlife as they enjoy the s...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes will be as varied as the days spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It’s said that you haven't experienced après ski here until you've sampled toffee vodka... We say the only real “must do” is Le Rond Point, which is perhaps the most famous après ski bar in the world. Meribel is rightly famous for its night life with a variety of pubs, bars and clu...

Good shared chalet, top floor ( shared with Rosalie 2 and staff below). Excellent location in quiet village near to ski hire, chair lift and bus stop, also bar, shop, bakery and 2 restaurants. Encountered no queues. ... Transfer from Grenoble delayed over 1 1/2 hours waiting for other arrivals was disappointing. Floor plan of chalet differ between various sites and actual chalet, as do the photos advertising. Much more cramped. Lounge ok but dining facilities cosy. Adequate boot room with heater. Very pleasant chalet host Jes. Providing good sized meals for hungry skiers.
