The Pinto is a superb chalet-style apartment in a recently built interior designed Savoyarde style building right in the heart of Val d'Isere.
Situated on the second floor (lift), it has fantastic accommodation for up to 8 guests in four bedrooms, each with ensuite bath/shower rooms. The wonderful open-plan kitchen/living/dining room has an open fireplace and doors leading to a balcony with great views on which to enjoy a well earned glass of wine after a hard day on the infamous Val d'Isere pistes.. perhaps even La Face! The owner of this building really has thought of everything.
There is the added benefit of a private sauna and the apartment can perhaps be combined with our Chalets Marwari, Lusitano or Nokota which are also in the same building, meaning larger groups of friends or families can enjoy all the benefits of being together whilst retaining privacy in their own apartments. Located within its own private gated development on the high street, access to all the shops, bars and restaurants this wonderful resort has to offer is instant. Whilst central though, it is set just back from the hustle & bustle meaning you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings in which it's located and access to the main Bellevarde/Solaise ski lifts is literally a few minutes walk so you will be on the slopes before you know it... You will be warmly welcomed to The Pinto by one of our friendly chalet hosts who lives out.
Did You Know... A Pinto horse has a coat colour that consists of large patches of white and any other colour. The word "paint" is often used to describe Pinto horses... a hugely popular choice for the cowboys of North America!
We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
