My friend and I had a wonderful week in Chalet Naomi, being looked after by our lovely chalet host, Eleanor who spoiled us with her delicious cakes and three course dinners helped down with a good bottle of wine and the company of our other chalet guests.... I'm missing it already. + more

Centrally located, this adorable chalet is a matter of minutes from the piste, the village centre and the ski school meeting point meaning, whatever your plan for the day, you’ll be just a two to three minute walk away. Location: where is Chalet Naomi

Boasting ski convenience, Chalet Naomi is situated in the Quartier des Bergers. The Alpauris chair and the ski school meeting point are just 220 metres (approx.) and 200 metres (approx.) from the chalet and Les Bergers’ small selection of shops and bars are only a short walk away. This chalet apartment, situated in the same building as Chalet Les Eterlous, couldn’t be better placed.

Chalet Naomi would not look out of place in a new adaptation of Heidi with its timber exterior and aged wood finish. This quaint charm has been paired with 21st century comforts, such as a sauna and heated boot dryers, so you can live the rural chalet dream and enjoy modern day luxuries. The large open-plan living and dining area boasts a TV and has serene southerly views of a nearby stream; open the window and you might hear the water trickling past. All bedrooms have the same rustic appeal and every room has its own bathroom.

With a transfer time of around 2 hours, Alpe d'Huez is very accessible from Grenoble or Chambery airport. Established in 1936, it was the first resort in France to be installed with a fully operational ski lift. The resort lies in the Grandes Rousses Massif domain.
