Overview: chalet description: Chalet Nadine description

We are delighted to be able to offer this collection of chalet apartments within the traditional style Praz de la Legettaz Residence. The chalets (named after the owners daughters!) are all very similar in style with plenty of wood panelling, squishy leather sofas and large dining tables.

Chalet Nadine is the largest of these chalets and is on the first floor which is actually piste level so this chalet couldn't be more ski convenient! The chalet is bright and welcoming thanks to its plenty of windows offering lovely views towards the Bellevarde. The living and dining area are mostly open plan with access to the balcony, there is a huge dining table and a couple of separate cosy seating areas with comfy settees and chairs. In addition, there is a log fire central to the dining and seating areas which provides a lovely focal point and a great spot for enjoying canapes or an after dinner coffee. The bedrooms are fairly typical of French developments with space at a premium, so whilst not on the spacious side, they are all ensuite with most having baths.

Available to individuals as well as groups looking to take over a whole chalet, we are confident these lovely chalets will prove popular for guests looking to be in the perfect piste side location. They will also appeal to Families, particularly those with younger children due to the ease of access to the slopes and also to ski school - you can literally walk out from your chalet and ski away! Don't forget we have 3 other chalet apartments within this building so ideal for larger groups to book together.

  • Canapes and aperitif
  • Bath & Hand towels (with a mid week change on request)
  • Sauna towels and hot tub robes where applicable
  • Services of our Resort staff

It does not include the following:

  • Winter sports insurance
  • Ski/snowboard carriage on flights
  • Lift passes, ski hire or ski school
  • Evening meal on staff day off
  • Lunchtime meals
  • Any relevant Airport/flight tax & local resort taxes which will be added to your invoice (approx £55pp)

Families: Chalet Nadine for children

Children in our chalets

We welcome children in any of our chalets at any time throughout the season regardless of whether you are a group taking over the whole chalet or individual bookings into a larger chalet.

  • Our generous special reductions apply throughout the season
  • Selected family rooms with half price for under 12s.
  • The same reductions apply to all your children (not just the first two!).
  • Our child discount applies whether your children share your room or not.
  • Children enjoying discounts are still counted towards group discounts.

(Child discounts do not apply to late availability/reduced price holidays)

For all children under the age of 12 years we offer a generous 10% discount , however in selected chalets and family rooms, children can go at half price. All discounted children enjoy our child friendly early supper which our chalet staff will provide at approximately 6pm, (a parent must be on hand to oversee their child). This will be a two course meal with tasty (& healthy!) dishes such as shepherd’s pie, pasta bakes and casseroles followed by fruit, ice cream, crumbles etc. We encourage parents to chat to our chalet staff prior to their arrival to discuss their children’s meals. If you are taking over a whole chalet and would prefer your children to join the normal adult dinner then there is a supplement of £50 per child per week, please advise us of this at least two weeks prior to your departure. If you are in a shared chalet then we expect children under 12 to have the early supper. The only exception is Christmas dinner and sometimes meals on arrival night if you are arriving late.

We charge £100 for babies under the age of 2. Subject to their availability, we can provide travel cots and high chairs if required, please ensure you bring your own baby sleeping bag or blankets and a harness if required for high chairs. Flight seats are not included and car seats are not provided on our coach transfers. However baby seats are available on private taxi transfers, please ask for prices for private transfers. We do not provide jars or formula but your chalet host will happily keep some fruit/veg to one side and make a puree for your baby. Breakfast and children's supper is available to older babies who can manage normal solid foods.

All our chalets have tv’s and dvd players so please feel free to bring your own selection of dvd’s and also a selection of general board games.

Please bear in mind that our chalets/chalet hotels are not equipped to be child safe, there won't be stair gates or socket covers for example, bunk beds may not have guard rails and not all chalets have microwaves if you need these for sterilising bottles etc. Please make sure you are familiar with the chalet layout and location of bedrooms and bear in mind that entrances maybe shared with other residents. Children's behaviour and their safety remain the sole responsibility of their parents at all times.

Facilities: Chalet Nadine features

Internet/wifi is available free of charge in all of our chalets, however, in most instances belongs to the chalet owner so its availability is outside of our control. Please bear in mind that in the mountains, signal strength can vary, may not always be that strong or suitable for large amounts of streaming. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that it will be operative or that there will be continuous and uninterrupted connection. In the event of technical or other issues preventing access, no refund or compensation will be paid! Bear in mind that access may not be available throughout the chalet and maybe in communal areas only. We recommend that if accessing the net or downloading is essential during your holiday, you have your own data/roaming package for back up or make use of a local internet shop.

For those in a shared chalet it is generally expected that under 12s would have the early supper.

We update Chalet Nadine's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
