A really nice and well-appointed chalet. It was a bonus to have Sky and a free bar. The food was good – this was my first time staying in a catered chalet and I quite liked the afternoon tea. We are delighted to welcome back Chalet Monique to our collection for this winter; this lovely chalet is perfectly positioned in the centre of Courchevel 1650. The Ariondaz gondola is just a 4-minute easy walk. The chalet is just across the road from the nearest shops, restaurants and bars, with everything within easy walking distance. A free shuttle bus to Courchevel 1850 & Le Praz stops just outside – in all this is a great base for skiing in the magnificent 3 Valleys.

As well as its great location, Chalet Monique has a high level of quality and comfort that will offer an excellent holiday experience. It has a large open-plan living/dining room with a log fire and floor to ceiling windows that fill the room with light as well as providing a wonderful view down across the valley and snow-capped mountains beyond.

All the bedrooms have ensuite facilities and room safes. Most rooms have terraces or balconies. A large ski room with boot heaters has ample space for storing all equipment. There is also a superb outdoor jacuzzi with magnificent views, perfect for relaxing at the end of a hard day on the slopes.

To help maximise your skiing and your comfort, there is even a shower and change area, with bag storage, for you to use after skiing before departing for the airport. We love to ski and travel on the same day to maximise our ski time.

Chalet board is included and consists of a hearty breakfast, afternoon tea and cake and a wholesome 3 course dinner with wine provided by your friendly host (hosts live in the chalet). Please note our chalet staff have 2 days off a week, a Wednesday and a Saturday. On these days they will leave breakfast and afternoon tea out for you, but the evening meal is not provided, which gives you an opportunity to dine out in the resort, where there is no shortage of restaurants, not to mention an excellent choice of bars and shops.

Chalet Monique is perfect for a large group or smaller groups, couples or singles to meet new friends for a short break ski trip or a week long ski holiday in the 3 Valleys.

Divided into five villages - each known by its altitude - the Courchevel area provides a series of settings to suit different tastes, group make-ups and budgets. For pure, champagne-popping indulgence, Courchevel 1850 oozes exclusivity and no-limits luxury. It's the largest and highest of the villages and boasts a private airport, twelve Michelin stars between its restaurants, two palace hotels, and many designer boutiques. It's a seriously swanky stomping ground for the fashionable, famous and affluent. ...
Ideal for those at the genesis of their skiing career, 60% of slopes here are beginner-friendly. There's a 'Stop Zone' where learners can safely conquer the basics before hitting the slopes, and 4 beginner areas (called Zen Zones) where you can gently progress – find two in the main area and one each in Moriond and Le Praz. "Nich Courchevel chalet"

5/ out of 5
A really nice and well-appointed chalet. It was a bonus to have Sky and a free bar. The food was good – this was my first time staying in a catered chalet and I quite liked the afternoon tea. The bedroom was good for what we needed, and pretty much as I had expected - twin beds, a little balcony and a reasonable sized bathroom. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. At full capacity the chalet might be slightly different, but for me I don’t think there was anything I was disappointed with. Courchevel had absolutely brilliant weather with only one day of snow and cloud.
