Overview: chalet description: Chalet Michèle description

CHALET BY THE PISTE FOR 8 GUESTS
TOTALLY REFURBISHED FOR DECEMBER 2023

Michèle is currently getting a complete overhaul and is going to be a superb chalet for 8 guests nestling in the forest right next to the main slope in Courchevel La Tania. Works will finish this Autumn when we will have some new imagery available - the interior images displayed here are to give an idea of the style and quality of the refurbishment.

Works taking place include:
New bathrooms, total redecoration, new lighting, new flooring throughout, new sauna, double glazing, new entrance door, new ski room, new heating and hot water tanks. It really will be an entirely different chalet!

Chalet Michele has four twin bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, and a large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The very spacious lounge is centred around the log fireplace. Relax in this brilliant space whilst your host prepares dinner for you...

Hidden amongst the trees, Chalet Michele is totally private and extremely cosy. Large French windows open onto a balcony where you can admire the beautiful mountain views and watch skiers descend into the village.

Walking into the village takes around four minutes (as an adult without small children, that is!)

Breakfast

You need a hearty breakfast before your day on the slopes. Breakfast is served 8am-9am.

There will be a tempting range of continental options, fresh crusty baguette, porridge and cooked breakfast. We serve it alongside the good stuff… Heinz baked beans and ketchup, HP sauce plus real teabags from the UK!

Afternoon tea

Tuck into tempting treats after your day on the mountain. Help yourself to a freshly baked cake or biscuits, baguette and jams, tea and coffee which will be laid out for your return to the chalet.

Dinner

Canapes and fizz are served at 7:30pm as you unwind and relax for the evening. The fizz is from our friend and winemaker Nicolas Perret and is made just down the valley!

Dinner service is informal as we want you to feel at home in your chalet. Enjoy a home-made three course dinner using fantastic fresh produce.

Relax with coffee and chocolates after dinner… if you have any room left!

Wine

We serve unlimited red, white and rose wine with dinner, from bottles not boxes!

Special diets

If there’s anything you’d rather not eat, whether for moral, sensory or digestive reasons, please let us know before you travel. We won’t charge you a penny extra.

Children

We can serve dinner early for your youngsters who will likely be worn out after a day in the snow.

Your Chalet Host will prepare home-made, nutritious and fun dinners the kids will love!

Please let us know if you would like early dinner times or have special requests by calling us.

Chalet host days off

Your Chalet Host has two days off during the week (usually Tuesday and Friday). We will lay out continental breakfast and afternoon tea to help yourself to.

In the evening, it’s a great chance to sample the local cuisine and your Guest Services Manager in resort will be happy to make a restaurant reservation for you.

We update Chalet Michèle's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Nestled in the forests between Courchevel and Meribel offering excellent access to both resorts, La Tania is known as the Three Valleys' best-kept secret. Proud to be eco-friendly, the resort facilities are powered by a hydro-electric system and has a car-free centre. Despite its modernity, the village has been designed in-keeping with traditional wooden Savoyard architecture, integrated amongst the beautiful forest scenery. The local businesses are mostly Brit-owned, but visitors can still find very French si...
Long green, blue and red tree-lined slopes overlook the village, and the Three Valleys provides a ginormous amount of opportunities for all different abilities. You can make your way over to Courchevel and Meribel on skis alone. There is a wide range of ski and snowboard schools offering group and private lessons for all ages. There are gentle green runs for novices from the top of the gondola all the way back down to the centre. The blue run ‘Folyères’ on the other side of the lifts is a great place to de...
After a day on the slopes, La Tania is a peaceful base to unwind in. The atmosphere is mostly quiet and relaxed, but some après fun can be found. Great value for money, prices are a fraction to those in other places. Pub Le Ski Lodge attracts most of the nightlife, hosting regular live music performances and themed nights.
