Overview: chalet description: Chalet Le Mazot description

Chalet Le Mazot is a modern chalet yet has great character. It is decorated in Alpine style with some charming finishing touches.

The top floor lounge area, much improved by the addition of new floorng, has French windows opening onto the balcony. From here you can admire the wonderful views down the valley – perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of something before dinner!

The sauna really adds to the appeal of the chalet; guests can warm up and relax those muscles after a hard day on the mountain.

Located in a peaceful spot six minutes' walk down from the village, Le Mazot is also close to the escalator which arrives straight into the village centre. The lifts and shops can also be accessed by bus.

Guests are welcome to leave their equipment in our recommended ski hire shop overnight to make getting to the slopes much easier in the mornings.

The chalet’s very nice and comfortable. My bedroom was small but the storage was fine. Access to the slopes would have been ok if one of the escalators wasn’t broken, it didn’t work all week so we had to walk quite a long way. However the chalet itself wasn’t as clean as it could have been, for example, the bedroom didn’t look like it had been cleaned thoroughly and there were dirty dishcloths left in the sink that we’d see being used to wipe surfaces. The cooking itself was good, it was nice to have decent meals rather than stuff like spaghetti bolognaise.
