Chalet Kohu (sleeps 6-8) 1650m. There really are very few free-standing chalets for six people in Courchevel 1650 so we are very proud to be able to offer our guets this excellent option.
This wonderful traditionally wood-clad chalet has fantastic space with a super open-plan living/dining room, comfortable sofa seating, open fireplace and doors leading to a panoramic balcony with far-reaching views over 1550 and across the valley. The bedrooms are all well fitted out with modern ensuite facilities and one of them (a very large twin) has an additional two beds (at reduced rate which can be used to make a family room so a whole group of 8 can easily be accommodated. There is also the added advantage of a sauna on the ground floor in which to rest those weary legs at the end of a hard day.
The Kohu is situated next to our Chalet Kassiopee and in the same area as Le Misti and Fitzroy, also part of the programme therefore if there are two or more groups who would prefer to have their own property and privacy but who want to be within striking distance of their friends, this really is the ideal option.
Situated below the high street of 1650, the centre of the village with its ski lifts, shops, bars and restaurants is about a 5-7 minute walk (uphill) or alternatively you can access everything via the recently installed escalator whisking you up the hill which is situated just a couple of minutes walk from the chalet.
Chalet Kohu is superbly run by one of our own chalet hosts who lives out.
Did You Know: The word Kohu is the Finnish noun for "fog" - something you might get to overlook in the dramatic valley in front of Chalet Kohu whilst bathing in warm sun under the sunny blue skies which provide the most amazing backdrop to some of the most wonderful mountain views you will find...

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
