Awesome chalet, would happily go back. We had a great group of people there and the chalet guy was in his 5th or 6th season so knew what he was doing – he produced a great mix of meals, using a combination of the menus they provided and his own experience. We had plenty of storage space in our bedroom. The loc... + more

My first time in Val d’Isere and I really liked it, it’s one of the best! You can do different runs every day and we were really lucky with the weather, it snowed the week before, then stopped snowing for some sunshine! There are lots of bars etc to try out. I would definitely recommend skiing here. + more

Top quality build standards, beautiful reclaimed wood, funky (and comfortable!) furniture, VI sprung beds, duck feather duvets...nothing has been left to chance in Kanjiroba.

The lounge has a 55 inch Freesat TV with British channels and internet access, plus DVD Blu Ray player. Most bedrooms have 42 inch TVs with the same Freesat channels. There is also an integrated Sonos system so you can play music from your igadgets...

Chalet Kanjiroba was added to our programme for the 2014-15 season but is in fact one of the oldest properties in Val d'Isere, dating back to the 1700s. It sits next to another chalet, Maison d'Angelique, on a quiet lane in La Daille, just 3 minutes walk from the lifts.

Kanjiroba occupies a substantial section of a very large building. It has its own separate entrance and is entirely self-contained. With well over 200m2 for only 10 guests,

Chalet Kanjiroba is extremely spacious, classy and comfortable and has already become a firm favourite with the regulars.

The new owners of Kanjiroba were determined to make this an extremely smart chalet and they have indeed succeeded!

We can serve dinner early for your youngsters who will likely be worn out after a day in the snow.

Your Chalet Host will prepare home-made, nutritious and fun dinners the kids will love!

Your Chalet Host has two days off during the week (usually Tuesday and Friday). We will lay out continental breakfast and afternoon tea to help yourself to.

In the evening, it’s a great chance to sample the local cuisine and your Guest Services Manager in resort will be happy to make a restaurant reservation for you.

We update Chalet Kanjiroba's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. "Brilliant, loved it"

Brilliant! We had a fantastic time and really loved the chalet. In terms of facilities you couldn’t fault it. All the guests got on well and ended up skiing together which was really nice. The building is really spacious with a nice atmosphere and very high quality specs. It was very comfortable and everyone gravitated to the lounge area which was really nice. It was great being so close to the slopes which made a massive difference – a five-minute walk at most with a nice bar in between! I really liked the food, everything was absolutely fine and it was really nice not having to go to restaurants every night. We got the best bedroom so we were really lucky! The staff were lovely! Highly recommended.
