Overview: hotel description: Hotel Dragon description

With an unbeatable location at the foot of the piste in Cervinia, the Hotel Dragon is a great choice for your next ski holiday. The hotel has recently had a sophisticated full make-over.

Lively Wine Bar

The bar and lounge have been transformed into a lovely authentic wine bar with the use of warm alpine materials.

Our favourite location is the outdoor terrace. During the sunnier weeks of the season it becomes a suntrap with some of the best views of the Matterhorn from the Italian side of the mountain. The hotel has a lively après scene and a live DJ from 16:00-18:30 every day, there is no better place to enjoy a cool refreshment.

Location

There's plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close by and it's just a short 150 metre walk through the snow to the Cretaz lift. Getting back to the hotel is even easier as you can ski all the way to the road opposite the hotel (weather permitting) - that's if you can resist stopping at one of the many bars that line the bottom of the slopes next to the lift.

Newly Renovated

Along with the common areas, the bedrooms have had some TLC and provide a spacious and comfortable base for your stay.

This package holiday to Hotel Dragon in Cervinia, Italy departs Sunday 5th January 2025, for a 7 night stay on a "half board" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. Nestled in the heart of the rocky, North-West Alps, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to an Italian version of Narnia as you reach the end of the snow-topped pines and arrive at the foot of the holiday village. With first-track skiing for early risers who can beat everyone else to the slopes, Cervinia is a snowball of varied surprises. 18 beginner runs make this ideal for novice skiers wanting to embark on their romance with snow sports. Take the chair lift up to Plan Torrette to get a feel for the gentler blue runs. This is a great place for children to learn as ski schools take young skiers up magic carpets and around a whole new world of slopes. A bucket load of intermediate runs means that already accomplished...
Après ski, Après ski, Après ski! A popular spot to start the evening is at the Grivola’s Irish bar which has a happy hour after the lifts close. To extend your night, move the party on to the village’s happening Bianconiglio club, which offers a range of music including live performances to suit all clientele. Few do food better than the Italians - Pizzas loved by locals and tourists alike can be found at the Sotto Zero, perfect for all the family with classic Margherita for the little ‘uns and Alpine t...
