Overview: chalet description: Chalet Everest II description

The Everest II is a wonderful apartment-style chalet in Courchevel which is already proving incredibly popular despite its recent addition to the chalet programme. Not surprising given its superb finish and furnishings.

Situated on the second floor of the recently built Everest complex, this super apartment provides a super option for groups of up to 8 people. It has been finished to the highest of standards using a mix of traditional Alpine wood combined with modern sumptuous furnishings and fittings.

All the bedrooms are ensuite and there is a private sauna in which to rest those weary legs at the end of a strenuous day on the slopes. The living room has access to wonderful balconies with great views and there is plenty of comfortable sofa seating for all. The Everest building is situated just a short walk from the centre of 1650 and the many local shops, bars and restaurants which this increasingly popular level of Courchevel has to offer. The main lift linking into the Three Valleys is via the main resort escalator which is only a 4-5 minute walk away. You will be warmly welcomed to this wonderful chalet/apartment by one of our friendly hand-selected chalet hosts who lives out.

Did You Know... It goes without saying that Everest needs no introduction at all... the mightiest, highest, snowiest mountain in the world!

Meals: Chalet Everest II food & drink

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.

Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.

If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.

Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.

We update Chalet Everest II's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Divided into five villages - each known by its altitude - the Courchevel area provides a series of settings to suit different tastes, group make-ups and budgets. For pure, champagne-popping indulgence, Courchevel 1850 oozes exclusivity and no-limits luxury. It's the largest and highest of the villages and boasts a private airport, twelve Michelin stars between its restaurants, two palace hotels, and many designer boutiques. Ideal for those at the genesis of their skiing career, 60% of slopes here are beginner-friendly. There's a 'Stop Zone' where learners can safely conquer the basics before hitting the slopes, and 4 beginner areas (called Zen Zones) where you can gently progress – find two in the main area and one each in Moriond and Le Praz. As part of the effort to make the resort child friendly, the Indiens piste focuses on fun for kids. Activities here include face painting, a treasure trail and many other activities around a...
Après ski in 1850 is the height of sophistication. Enjoy a cosy fireside cocktail in La Mangeoire piano bar or La Suite Bar & Louge; sample fine wine and champagne in Le P'tit Drink or go clubbing in Les Caves de Courchevel. Down in 1650, you can fully appreciate the stunning surroundings at The Signal bar.
