Overview: chalet description: Chalet du Crêt description

An exceptional, unique, luxury chalet in the exclusive hamlet of Le Crêt, Val d’Isere

Perfectly positioned in a quiet corner of the village, Chalet du Crêt is in a great location, just a five minute stroll from the exclusive boutiques, bars and restaurants of the village centre and a three-minute chauffeured drive from the main ski lifts.

Lovingly restored a few years ago, this enchanting property has been transformed into one of Val d’Isère’s finest chalets available to rent. The chalet is laid out over three floors, sleeping up to 12 people in six individually designed bedrooms.

The owners have carefully preserved the original features, including the traditional chapel that nestles in the private garden. Inside, clever combinations of aged stone and exposed beams combine with sumptuous fabrics and furniture, creating a beautiful contemporary home which maintains a rustic charm.

The luxury chalet is perfect for groups of friends or families, with all the bedrooms having en-suite shower or bathrooms. Additionally, all the beds can be made up as either twins or doubles offering a lot of flexibility. The deluxe master bedroom on the top floor has double height ceilings, as well as a stylish seating area with desk and private terrace.

Entertaining and relaxing is at the heart of this chalet. The large open plan living and dining area boasts a beautiful stone fireplace surrounded by comfy sofas with luxurious throws and cushions, providing the perfect spot to curl up with a good book before dinner.

A double height ceiling over the sofa area, sophisticated lighting and fabulous modern art create the perfect setting for socialising with friends or for enjoying an intimate dinner by candle light. For those guests taking the property on a self-catered basis, please be aware the chalet has a professional kitchen.

For those wishing to break out and enjoy the latest series or a movie in peace, retreat to the stylish cinema room. A large L-shaped sofa provides plenty of lounging opportunities and retro leather chairs and a desk area provide more space to relax.

Children will be endlessly entertained throughout their stay. Outside there is a wonderful private garden where afternoons can be spent building snowmen and throwing snowballs. Inside, they can warm up with hot chocolates before playing in their very own den with faux grass, a climbing wall and a snug seating area with TV allowing for endless entertainment.

The spa facilities at Chalet du Crêt cater for everyone. An outdoor hot tub and hammam will ensure guests can relax after a day exploring the incredible Espace Killy ski area.

The chalet is normally provided with an in-resort driver service when sold on a fully catered basis.

This accommodation only holiday to Chalet du Crêt in Val d'Isere, France departs Sunday 27th April 2025, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
