Awarded the Label Meribel (which ensures the highest standards), Chalet Bruyere is a crowd-pleaser, a real home-from home. Give us a list of requirements for your ski holiday and Bruyere will confidently, though not arrogantly, tick them off one by one.
En-suite bedrooms…SIX! Comfortable lounge with open-fire…MAIS OUI! Spacious dining area…OF COURSE! Stunning views…GOES WITHOUT SAYING! Separate TV Room…WOW! Hot-tub on the deck…BOOM! Running out of expressive ways to say ‘yes'…YES!
Chalet Bruyere is located in the hamlet of Le Raffort on the road up to Méribel. It's 150m from the Olympic gondola station that will whisk you up the hill to the main lifts that depart from Méribel in a matter of minutes. More likely, however, guests in Bruyere (or Bruests as we call them) will use the private shuttle transfer service operated by Robbie Robertson, The Chalet Company's trusty driver.
In the afternoon, you can ski or ride down the Villages run to within 150 metres of the chalet.
Please note that, for guests in this chalet, we offer a private mini-bus service to and from the slopes
Service available from 8.30 - 10.30am and 3.30pm - 6.30pm Sunday to Friday
We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
•3 Valleys ski area •Excellent ski schools •Lively après ski
Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
