Overview: chalet description: Chalet Baroque description

This stylish chalet apartment is in an enviable location a few minutes walk from the main Médran lift and right in the centre of Verbier.

Carefully chosen furniture and décor surround the roaring fire, providing a lovely environment in which to indulge. The main living area is wonderfully spacious and is circled by a large balcony where guests can enjoy fabulous views across the valley to the Petit Combin mountain range.

A mezzanine level above the living room is reached by a spiral staircase and has several soft sofas making it the perfect spot for a quiet moment.

There are four individually designed bedrooms and each has the benefit of its own private bath/shower facilities: three on the main floor and the master bedroom on the second floor. All of the rooms can be made up as twins or super-king doubles to suit the chalet party.

The suppliers aim is to produce food, which is not only of the highest quality but also creates an extraordinary and memorable dining experience for all of guests. The team of chefs are all highly experienced and professionally trained. Many have worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, whilst others have worked in private households, villas and yachts around the world. As a result, the culinary team brings with them a wealth of knowledge, expertise and above all, a passion for exceptional food.

The emphasis has always been on balanced, perfectly designed menus, which showcase delicious food and beautiful presentation. Whilst we offer the traditional breakfast, afternoon tea, indulgent pre-dinner canapés and 4-course dinner, the chefs offer complete flexibility and are more than happy to offer lighter suppers and children’s teas. Whatever your individual dietary requirements or specific dining requests may be, the chefs will do their utmost to ensure they are met.

In the larger chalets, a team consisting of a professional chef and talented host will ensure you do not have to lift a finger throughout your stay. In the more intimate catered chalets, which are perfect for small groups of friends or families, a chef host will take care of your every need supported by the chalet managers. They are chosen for their flexibility, attention to detail and exceptional catering skills.

Fantastic food should be paired with great wine. The supplier offers a superb selection of house wines and champagnes; consisting of a collection of 8 classic Old World wines and New World discoveries plus our two excellent champagnes; Perrier Jouët Grand Brut and G.H.Mumm Cordon Rouge. The wines have been caringly chosen to suit everyone’s preferences and are all available throughout your stay.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
