Overview: chalet description: Chalet Angel description

Chalet Angel is one of those perfectly traditional Tyrolean chalets which are becoming increasingly hard to find in a resort like St Anton. Ideal for those looking for a true Austrian Alpine rustic style, this wonderful chalet is brilliantly located on Dorfstrasse, just 150m from the Nassereinbahn meaning access to the skiing is simple and the high street with all its restaurants, bars and shops is just a short stroll away. There are six bedrooms, all with ensuite shower rooms and a lovely wood panelled dining room.

Whilst the living space is a little limited, there is a small additional seating area and the chalet has the added advantage of a sauna in which to relax after a hard day on the slopes or perhaps after a session at one of the world-famous piste-side apres ski spots. We have no doubt that Chalet Angel is going to be hugely popular with families or groups of friends so early booking is advised. You will be warmly welcomed to Chalet Angel by two chalet hosts (possibly a couple) who live out.

Did You Know: Chalet Angel is one of the original chalet buildings of St Anton, lovingly decorated in local fixtures and fittings with no doubt a few customary Angels to watch over you during your stay..!

NB. The friendly chalet owner visits his apartment on the top floor for which access is required through the main entrance/hallway from time to time.

Meals: Chalet Angel food & drink

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.

Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.

If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.

Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.

We update Chalet Angel's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...
The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...
