Austria Trend Alpine Resort Fieberbrunn is an excellent modern hotel with a fantastic location for keen skiers.

The hotel is based right by the Doischberg red run and lift - plus it's close to nursery slopes and a blue run for an easy return from the mountains. Being this close to the lifts means that the village centre is about 1km or 15 minutes' walk away - but with such excellent in-house facilities you should be well covered for things to do in the evenings.

You've got free access to the indoor pool and wellness centre - with a full range of saunas of varying heat and humidity - plus you could always book in for a massage or beauty treatment.

The rooms are a mix of classic Austrian style mixed with modern touches. And all being a good size for a family break, along with a free kids' club each winter make this a great family-friendly proposition.

Fieberbrunn is tucked away in the Kitzbüheler Alps with brilliant slopes for beginners and intermediates and incredible freeriding for experts, not to mention access to the whole Schneewinkel ski area. The town itself is authentic and friendly with a good range of bars and restaurants, and the on mountain dining is spectacular.

This small, authentic Tyrolean town is hidden right in the midst of the Schneewinkel ski area. It’s in easy reach of the other resorts in the area (St Johann, Kirchdorf, Erpfendorf, Oberndorf, Waidring) via the free ski bus as well as being just an hour’s drive from the well-connected Salzburg airport.
