The Alpenhotel is luxurious inside and out, and it's location right on the shores of Lake Schwarzsee make it the perfect place to relax. You can unwind in the infinity pool, relaxation rooms and saunas. And for something extra special, don't miss the lake sauna, which is on the hotel's private jetty. When you're ready to hit the slopes, it's a 10-minute drive on the free ski bus to the Fleckalmbahn gondola.

Everything at the hotel's made from locally sourced wood. The modern bedrooms and suites have large windows that let in natural light, and every room has a balcony. Suites have private saunas – perfect post-ski, and for a lakeside view from the balcony choose a two-bedroom suite.

You'll be staying half board here. Breakfast is served buffet-style and you can choose from hot and cold foods to start the day. Then, after exploring the slopes, tuck in to a 5-course evening meal in the hotel dining room. And, if you find you can't quite wait until dinnertime, snacks are served every afternoon.
