Overview: hotel description: Alpendomizil Neuhaus description

Set at the bottom of Mayrhofen's high street, the Alpendomizil Neuhaus is one of the resort's oldest hotels and is full of history and charm. Made up of several different buildings, including its own farm where many of the chef's ingredients come from, there's a wonderful sense of space and light throughout.

It's a vibrant place to stay with a sophisticated, unstuffy atmosphere and everything you might need from a hotel when it comes to facilities. Great hospitality and friendly service are at the heart of the hotel, and with five generations of owners, it' easy to see why.

The list of facilities is seemingly endless. The Kamillendörfl spa and wellness area has to be the jewel in the Neuhaus crown with its large indoor pool, five saunas (of varying temperatures), steam baths and relaxation areas. When you're not in the spa you can enjoy more traditional relaxation such as a games lounge, après bar, Austrian skittles and more.

Getting out and about is easy as the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the bustling centre of Mayrhofen and its fantastic après scene. The high-speed Penken gondola is about a 10-minute walk or the ski bus stop is just a minute away. From here you can even catch a bus or train to other areas in the enormous Ziller Valley, all covered on your lift pass.
