Originally a Benedictine abbey dating back to the 17th century, the Abbaye, although now completely renovated, retains an almost fairytale atmosphere and offers a unique blend of history, tradition and first class comfort. Guests soon discover the calm and beauty of the cloisters and secluded gardens so admired by Cézanne who lived and painted here a century ago. The cuisine and wine cellar are outstanding.

In May, June and September, dinner is taken in the renowned restaurant of the adjacent Hotel Le Cottage on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Superb six course gala dinner on the evening of arrival (except July/August).
In fine weather, dinner is served in the romantic atmosphere of the garden overlooking the lake.
