Consisting of the orangery-flavoured Aperol Liqueur, prosecco, and a dash of soda water, the legendary Aperol Spritz is here to stay. Where better to try an Aperol Spritz than in its home country? The Hugo is the perfect accompaniment for spring skiing. Bask in the glorious sunshine and reenergize for the afternoon with this elderflower-flavoured moreish cocktail. Grab your winter warmer at the esteemed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafoliedouce.com\/en\/cuisine-val-isere\/fruitiere-restaurant-val-isere.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">La Fruitiere<\/a> restaurant, next to the famous Folie Douce in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sno.co.uk\/ski-holidays\/france\/val-d-isere\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sno.co.uk\/ski\/france\/val-d-isere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Val d\u2019Isere<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 (750-ml) bottle red wine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 orange, sliced into rounds, plus more for garnish<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 whole cloves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 star anise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>90 g honey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>120 ml brandy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Method: Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over a medium heat. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer gently over low heat for 10 minutes. This tantalising treat is an absolute calorie-fest, but it is certainly well-deserved after a day carving up the pistes. We reckon the perfect spot to indulge in one of these gems is at the exquisite, cosy mountain restaurant, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marlenaz.com\/welcome-en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">La Marl\u00e9naz<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sno.co.uk\/ski\/switzerland\/verbier\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sno.co.uk\/ski\/switzerland\/verbier\/\">Verbier<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 oz Peppermint Schnapps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6-8 oz hot chocolate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whipped cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garnish with shaved chocolate or peppermint sticks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Method: Add peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate to a saucepan. Heat mixture then add to serving glass. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bartignes.com\/loop-bar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Loop Bar<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sno.co.uk\/ski-holidays\/france\/tignes\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sno.co.uk\/ski\/france\/tignes\/\">Tignes<\/a> Le Lac is a cool spot to appreciate one or five of these while surrounded by the base of stunning snowy white mountains<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wheat beer or lager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peach (peche) syrup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Method: Literally just wheat beer or lager with a dash of peach syrup! Warning: too many of these bad boys could result in being carried down the mountain, so perhaps stick to having these in the resort village \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/scottysstanton.com\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scotty\u2019s<\/a> in St Anton\u2019s town centre is well-known for their luscious Long Island Iced Teas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>15 ml vodka<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 ml rum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 ml gin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 ml tequilla<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 ml triple sec<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>30 ml fresh lime juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dash of cola, add more if tastes too strong<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 lemon slice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Method: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, and sour mix over ice, cover and shake.
