What a week it’s been in the Alps – cracking snow cover from last week’s dumps, low temperatures keeping it cool and glorious blue skies and sunshine over the past couple of days. The sun terraces are buzzing, and the views are nothing short of staggering.<\/span><\/h6>\n
It looks like the weekend’s going to be a sunny one in most parts, with more snow to come in the middle of next week. After which, most forecasts are predicting another bluebird Friday. All in all, it looks like we’ve got a glorious Easter<\/a><\/span> to come.<\/span><\/h6>\n
Here’s what 12 of our favourite resorts looked like today:<\/span><\/h6>\n

 <\/p>\n

Alpe d\u2019Huez<\/a><\/span>, France<\/span><\/h3>\n

Temperature: -14\u00b0C to -6\u00b0C<\/span>
\nSnow @ top of ski area: 310cm<\/span>
\nSnow in resort: 170cm<\/span>
\nCurrent weather: Superbly sunny \u2013 both in resort, and up on the Pic Blanc at 3300m. Snow quality on the mountain is fresh thanks to a recent dusting. It\u2019s due to be a sunny weekend, with light snow on Saturday and heavier falls over the following days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cervinia <\/a><\/span>& Zermatt<\/a><\/span>, Italy & Switzerland<\/span><\/h3>\n

Temperature: -4\u00b0C to 7\u00b0C (Cervinia) -11\u00b0C to -1\u00b0C (Zermatt)<\/span>

\nSnow in resort: 85cm (Cervinia) 50cm (Zermatt)<\/span>
\nCurrent weather: The Cervinia-Zermatt ski area is wonderfully sunny today, with SNO lovers enjoying powder snow up on the hills. A little cloud is expected tomorrow and then snow, snow, snow for the next few days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Courchevel<\/a><\/span>, France<\/span><\/h3>\n

Temperature: -8\u00b0C to -1\u00b0C<\/span>
\nSnow @ top of ski area: 200cm<\/span>

\nCurrent weather: Sunny and fair, with the freezing point hovering around the 1000m mark. There should be some dustings of snow over the weekend – and heavy snowfalls on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nCurrent weather: A mix of sun and cloud today and this weekend, with a decent dump of snow due in the middle of next week.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nCurrent weather: Sunny with the odd wispy cloud higher up. A few more clouds are expected to be appearing from Haute Maurienne tomorrow, bringing a few snowflakes with them. More snow from Sunday, with heavy falls on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nCurrent weather: Sunny today and more sunshine over the weekend. Clouds coming in on Monday, with snow due on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nCurrent weather: Cloud and sun today and tomorrow, with cloud and snow taking over from Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nCurrent weather: Sunny, with the freezing level at about 1500m. The weather man’s predicting sun and cloud for the next few days, with snow due higher up on Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nCurrent weather: Sun + cloud today and tomorrow, with temperatures dropping on Sunday. Next week looks like it\u2019ll be snowing every day, with Wednesday expecting the heaviest falls. Then it\u2019s expected to be another Friday of sun-drenched skiing.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nCurrent weather: The freezing point\u2019s around 1200m and it\u2019s partly sunny, partly cloudy\u2026 Up until Tuesday when there\u2019s snow, followed by even more of the white stuff on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n
