With advice from our wonderful customers, here\u2019s why we chose Club Med.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve worked in ski travel for long enough to know that your first ski holiday is usually the clincher.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll either be hooked, or never give it a second chance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not everyone in our industry fully understands how crucial that first trip is:<\/span><\/p>\n

For people to discover and love skiing and snowboarding, every chalet host and rep and instructor and rental fitter and liftie (and travel agent!) should be triply<\/em> on-their-metal, when they hear it\u2019s someone\u2019s first time.\u00a0 Desperate to remove every bit of friction or nervousness or inconvenience, to make sure that trip opens up our wonderful world, over a week of thrills and friendly relaxation, set as it is, in this epic landscape of the Gods.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we asked advice, on choosing a trip aimed squarely at getting a newbie to love love love it, there was one solve-all tip which came up repeatedly, so we\u2019ve taken your advice, and booked a Club Med ski holiday.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not the expert in family skiing yet, so here are your<\/em> reasons why:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cClub Med is certainly the way to ski as a family, the affordability of it as all inclusive is just perfect. We\u2019re already looking at another Club Med holiday for the whole family next year. The whole place is very kid orientated. The staff were brilliant, very professional and very diligent with kids as you\u2019d expect. Having full board and lessons included is a really good idea, they should include ski hire in the whole set up too. \u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cWe\u2019ve been to Club Med hotels a few times and we find it works for us. The Club Med food is always very good. Everything is included in the price so it\u2019s excellent value for money, last time I think I spent \u00a330 while on holiday as I didn\u2019t have to spend anything on top \u2013 lessons, lift pass, all meals, tea, coffee and drinks are included.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cClub Med holidays are the best if you have children, especially if the adults want to ski too. You take the children to the kids club in their ski clothes and they look after them, put on their boots, put them into groups, take them off to lessons (no having to carry skis), feed them on the mountain and then bring them back at the end of the day for hot chocolate. If the Mum and Dad classes come back later they hold onto them which works really well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cgood value\u201d point is often missed, because the basic price booking with Club Med seems higher\u2026 until you see it usually includes your lift pass, lessons and childcare all week.\u00a0 Stir in free food and drinks and you can see why skiing with this operator tends to be a cheaper option for families.\u00a0 It\u2019s lovely to saunter into the bar without your wallet!<\/span><\/p>\n
