Very good! I thought it looked virtually brand new and well looked after. The food was absolutely fine and if someone wanted something different they could ask and the staff would gladly do it. The chalet hosts were fine. The building itself is conveniently located for the slopes. Because it’s a ski in, ski out resort, you just put your skis on and ski - then go up to a particular lift and ski down at the end of the day.

We've just returned from a fabulous sunshine week of skiing at the stunning Chalet Poudreuse. The chalet is really modern and comfortable and is situated in a perfect location for doorstep skiing and just a 5 minute walk into Avoriaz centre. A big thanks to Barry and Gill who were exceptional hosts and made everyone feel welcome from the very start and nothing was too much trouble. Their cooking was amazing and they kept the chalet immaculate.

Jill, Barry, Jake and Susan were extremely helpful, friendly hosts who are a complete credit to the company. The chalet is in a great position to ski in and out, very new, clean and warm. The heated boot rack wonderful. Our room, the double with bunks, was under the main lounge dining area and unfortunately the tiled floor above us meant that every sound was magnified. Not the fault of the company but when the hosts were starting breakfast early we knew about it! There was a good sauna and lots of really hot water available at all times. Breakfast was excellent and extensive. Afternoon tea was supplied with bread, jam etc although the cakes variable. The dinners were adequate but would not have fed hungry skiers in their 20s or 30s and of average standard compared to previous experiences with other chalet operators, a bit style over substance with more veg required.

Enjoyed good skiing throughout the Portes du Soleil region from an excellent base in Avoriaz. The chalet is well positioned for ski in, ski out and easy to get into the village on foot. Room 4 is a bit noisy, and insulation between the three rooms on ground floor level would have been sensible, as would something to muffle the noise from the dining room above including the sliding door which all occupants of the ground floor rooms noted. It is a pretty basic design flaw, but Jake helpfully said he'd look into finding some solution for this (though not resolved during our stay). Thanks to Susan and Jake for an enjoyable stay, great food and their advice on getting to the furthest pistes.

Stayed at the chalet for a family skiing holiday. The chalet is very comfortable and clean, with excellent facilities. The living area is very spacious with a fabulous view over the resort. The bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable with lots of hot water. The chalet is centrally located and a short walk to a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. It is also very close to the pistes and it is an easy ski-in/out. Jake and Susie were brilliant hosts and contributed massively to making our holiday so special. They worked so hard all week and were very attentive and accommodating to the needs of all the guests. The food was delicious and several receives have been copied out to be recreated at home. In my experience they were a cut above the regular chalet hosts and future guests will be very fortunate to have their company. ... And as my 9-year-old son insisted on typing "Our ski hosts Susan and Jake are very good with kids. They are always up early to make their continental breakfast for all the people staying in the chalet. The chalet would not run properly without Jake and Susan, and they would be hard to beat running the chalet. They gave everyone in my party a fantastic time, and I think that the other people in the chalet would say so too."
