The staff were really good and the food was excellent. Breakfast was good and dinner was modern English food with healthy options like fish and veg. The rooms and bathrooms themselves were a little old fashioned and dark... very clean, just a little on the dark and dowdy side. The pool was brilliant - the kids loved it and the sauna was fantastic too.
The location wasn’t bad; a lot of people end up having to use the bus in Lech. The bus stop is only a couple of minutes from the chalet which takes you into town, where you have the option of one cable car and one lift.

The chalet hotel is a bit dated, but it’s really clean and we paid a very reasonable price.
Our room was the smallest with shorter beds than other rooms – it wasn’t ideal for me and my girlfriend as we couldn’t put the beds together but the staff made a big effort and brought another bed up for us. It was really nice to have our own shower and an en-suite.
We were ill for the first day and the staff really looked after us, making sure we had medicine and everything we needed.
The bar in the actual chalet was good and there’s also a swimming pool and sauna which were both really nice (although the pool was cold).
The food they did was really good, an endless amount of stuff with loads of variation, great starters and mains followed by different desserts. Breakfast was always good and they did a cooked option. I’d definitely rate it for the food.
This isn’t the most central chalet in Lech, but Lech is really exclusive and you’d be paying mega bucks to be in the middle. You literally just walk down and get the bus to the skiing and you can ski back to the centre of Lech on most slopes and the bus stops near all of them. There’s a nice supermarket in the village so you can ski down, grab some snacks and get the bus home.

This is a great chalet hotel and known for its terrific value for money in one of the world's best skiing resorts. The large sun-terrace has beautiful views of the mountains, or you can enjoy the ambience of the comfy lounge area with an open hearth. It had an indoor swimming pool and sauna when we last received client feedback in 2013/14 where you can relax those muscles at the end of a long day but be sure to check this is still the case before you book, if its important to your holiday. With the bus stop right outside the door it is easy to explore the whole resort and enjoy some of the fun après ski Lech has in store, or take you right to the lifts where you will be up the hill skiing in no time. Remains one of the more popular places to stay in an already super popular town.
