The area where the chalet’s located is really good - there’s a great little bar around the corner where we ended up spending most afternoons. We walked everywhere from the chalet rather than get the buses, you just walk down the road to get to the piste, it’s about a 5 or 10 minute walk which was fine for us.
I stayed in Chalet Chardonett with a big group of 10 and it was fine for me and what I paid for it.
The food wasn’t great but it was pretty good. I’m a veggie and there wasn’t much choice for meals but it was good enough and what you’d expect for the price.

We enjoyed it. Snow was OK, wind and temperature not so good (we were here at the beginning of January).
It’s quite far to get to the lifts, about 10 to 15 minutes walking whist carrying skis which was not great, the walk was along the flat but it might be easier for people staying here to store their equipment in a locker nearer the lifts.
Food and service were both OK.
