The chalet is a great base of operations for a week in Val Thorens! The rooms are comfortably sized -not huge but certainly larger than some I've had and all have balconies overlooking the resort which is a nice touch, particularly when watching the resort fireworks. The living/dining area fitted all 14 of us easily but the layout of the room could be better (though I suspect this is a concession to the shape of the room). The 2 hosts we had did a good job and the food was decent throughout with my highlight being the duck on the final evening.
This chalet is all about location and ski access is easy when leaving (via an elevator and short walk down to piste side) though slightly fiddly on the way back and some of the routes back down may not suit a beginner. As well as the simple ski access, the nearest hire shop is a stones throw from the door.
The best feature of the complex was the free spa- I'd thought it would be a small pool and tiny sauna but was pleasantly surprised at the setup first hand. It's only a short walk from the chalet and, aside from a pool that looks out on to the resort, has a steam room, sauna, and 2 jacuzzis- all of which were used by our group.

Overall we had a good week – we were happy with the location, happy with the staff, happy with the food and happy with the whole experience!

We had a lovely time, the girls who were our hosts were really nice and the food was incredible! I hadn’t been on a chalet holiday before but my friend who came with me had, and said that usually the chalet food was awful. The types of meals they did were always really nice, with mains like salmon parcels. I’m allergic to dairy and they made me the same meal as everyone else was having, just without the dairy – sometimes you end up having to eat a completely different meal or a bowl of salad, but this was really nice! We stayed here quite late in the season and it was getting quite low on snow towards the end of the week. We are both experienced skiers so it wasn’t a problem, but the slope that goes down nearest to the chalet was quite steep and mogully which wouldn’t have been great for less confident skiers. The location is good in that you have access to the spa and there’s also a little supermarket nearby, so everything’s just a short walk away.

Localised near a number of similar chalets and overlooking the delightful resort centre of VT. This is a very popular choice of accommodation for a catered stay in the jaw dropping Three Valleys, because of the unparalleled accessibility to the piste (25metres), close proximity to shops and popular bars, and the town an easy five minute walk away - you have everything you need ready and waiting on your doorstep. The additional relaxation facilities are also varied and of high quality, adding that little je ne sais quoi to an already incredible ski trip.
