The chalet was nice and we liked the rooms and hot tub! Our room had a good en-suite and a nice balcony which looked over the road. It also had enough storage space etc. The only thing was that at breakfasts, we didn’t have enough milk or juice for all 25 guests. I don’t think it was the host’s fault, but more the suppliers not providing enough for everyone. The location was good, it took us about five minutes to get to the lifts. I would definitely recommend this chalet.

The chalet’s very good, we enjoyed it. It was the two of us in our room, which was just a twin – it had everything we needed. The only downside, if any, is that although the bus stopped outside, it never seemed to arrive (maybe because it was the end of the season) so it was a 10 minute walk which isn’t ideal in ski boots. The food was very good and you had as much wine as you wanted and the staff couldn't do enough for you.

The great central location of this chalet makes it a brilliant choice for those wanting to experience the best that Tignes has to offer. In the mornings the Aeroski and Palafour lifts are close by, opening up both sides of the valley, and in the evenings you’re close to everything going on in Le Lac. Val Claret is just over the lake, and the free ski buses run regularly all winter. The hot tub on the balcony makes for the perfect spot to unwind under a hard day on the slopes, and the wide range of room’s available make the property suitable for groups and families of all sizes. If the hot tub is import to you, do be sure to ask on the phone to check it will be operating on your dates (make sure you check "before" you book!).

The snow was really good while we were here – one day we went on the glacier and it was -35c! So cold you could only do one run and then go straight back inside to warm up. I went with my husband and we really enjoyed the chalet as a couple, it’s bigger than we normally go for with chalets but this made it really sociable, there was a group of girls who were all doctors and we got chatting because our son has just qualified, it’s always a nice way to ski as by the end of the week you end up skiing together. We’ve stayed in hotels too and always found in chalets you get to know people more. - The chalet also had a hot tub which was really nice to jump into after a days skiing. - The chalet had a good location, virtually ski in and ski out if you walk across the road and nip across the back, we skied back every evening because the snow was so good while we were here. I can’t remember the names of any restaurants but they were all really good, we ate out every lunch time and one night in the week. The food in the chalet wasn’t bad at all and came with free local wine.
