Delightful village in the spectacular Zillertal with a Super Zillertal lift pass giving access to virtually all the region's lifts and over 600km of terrain. In December 1999 the local skiing was linked to Gerlos, Wald and Gerlosplatte, creating the Zillertal Arena, the largest area in the Zillertal and one of Austria's largest ski areas. Wide range of off-slope activities include the more unusual, such as stamp-swapping for philatelists at the Cafe Rosengarten on the third Wednesday of every month, air-gun shooting and billiards.

Zell has one of the longest natural toboggan runs in the Tyrol. 7km (four miles) long and illuminated for night sledding, the Gerlossteinbahn is open exclusively to sledders in the evening. Zell's award winning leisure park has three indoor tennis courts, an ice rink in the Ziller Valley for skating and curling and a bowling alley. As well as a mini golf course theres an adventure playground and outdoor heated pool with water slides in summer. There are also around 85km of winter hiking routes, horse drawn sleigh rides available, cross-country skiing trails and the chance to try paragliding with starting points as high as 2400m.
The Rollercoaster "Arena Coaster" provides an extra dose of fun.
You can see how local cheese is made with a "live" display at Hainzenberg. Excursions to Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital and former imperial city with its Golden Roof and "Black Men" Church. The Nordkette cablecar gives spectacular views over the entire Inn Valley. Visit the Swarovski Crystal World in Innsbruck which, since its opening in 1995, has become one of the Tyrol's biggest tourist attractions. Schwaz city with many sites of interest including the silver mines. Rattenberg - Tyrol's smallest city, full of medieval atmosphere and famous for its glass art. Excursions to the Spanneghlhöhle on the Hintertux Glacier - the biggest cave in the Tyrol - its 4.3km/3 miles long and 25m/82 ft deep.
