Established in 1965 the Canadian ski resort Stoneham lies at 633 metres altitude in the Québec region of the Canadian Laurentians / Laurentides. With the highest lifts and ski slopes below 2500m Stoneham ski area is not snow sure. Over 26 snow cannons ensure artificial Stoneham snow making covers 24km of ski trails, which equates to around 90 of the ski slopes. The nearest airport transfer to Stoneham (Canada) is Québec City at a distance of 50km or approximately ? minutes driving time. Stoneham ski season runs from November to April.

Stoneham is very much a ski and board centre in the winter, but there is an ice skating rink (skate rental). The nearby Nordic spa, makes Stoneham an even more welcoming destination. The resort is located on the Trans-Québec trail access snowshoeing trail with 24km of marked routes in the area. Snowmobiling is also available in the area. Of course most other facilities, as with dining and shopping, are available a short drive away in Quebec City.
