In resort St Wolfgang has indoor bowling and, when frozen, ice skating, curling and hot air balloon rides from the Lake.
Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides around the Wolfgangsee are also popular as are winter hikes and snowshoe tours.
Many of the hotels have extensive wellness and leisure facilities such as the indoor - outdoor heated pool at the White Horse Inn. There's also indoor tennis, libraries and a museum.
The "Activity Centre" on the Postalm offers the latest snow-sport trends for both skiers and non-skiers alike. These include snowbiking, with special courses available including "Fun to learn" workshops and "Snowbike fat-burning days" for weight reduction or " bum tum, and thigh sessions." The 7kg Snowbike is controlled through balance like a bike and the lightweight frame makes it very easy to handle (according to the Activity Centre). There's also a toboggan runs on the Postalm.
Excursions to nearby Salzburg are organised regularly.
