Although there are around a hundred shops in the region, the shopping does not extend to malls filled with exclusive jewellers and fashion boutiques. Clearly the great and the good who descend here do so for other attractions rather than shopping. You'll find a better than average choice of sports and gifts shops, there are flower shops for those special occasions and several bakeries too, each with an extensive range of freshly baked produce.
