Among Saas-Fee's unique attractions is the Ice pavilion at the top station of the Metro - Alpin. It is the largest ice pavilion in the world and houses a comprehensive exhibition on the subject of glaciers. The modern Bielen leisure centre, to which Saas-Fee's visitors obtain discounted entry with their guest card (available free to visitors booked in to Saas Fee's accommodation). It includes large indoor pool with whirlpool, children's pool, solarium, sauna, table tennis, two indoor tennis courts and a games room. Massage and reflexology treatments are also available at the Centre.
Other facilities in the village include a local museum (which particularly records the history of the area and of the German writer Carl Zuckmayer who made a second home in the village), an art gallery in the Bergkristall chalet, a ceramics workshop, games arcade, natural ice rink at the Kalbermatten for skating and occasional hockey and curling and a 5.5km( 3 mile) toboggan run down from the Hannig mountain (open for night tobogganing twice a week).
There are 30km(nearly 20 miles ) of marked winter hiking tracks and mountaineering schools are operating.
