Located in the heart of the Dolomiti Superski Region, Pozza di Fassa is a friendly village. The local skiing is part of the huge Dolomiti Superski pass (covering more than 1200km) and is close to the Sella Ronda circuit (linked by free ski bus), which is arguably the third largest ski area in the world. The reesort is famous for its night skiing.

There's a good choice of activities available on and off the slopes. You can try snow shoe walk, a horse-drawn sleigh ride, snow tubing, ice climbing (including the novelty of night ice climbing) or paragliding above (Val di Fassa is the birthplace of world champion Jimmy Pacher).
Canazei has an indoor swimming pool and Eghes, a Wellness Centre with Calidarium, Laconicum, Tepidarium, Aromarium, Frigidarium, Thalasso, Camomile Cave, Finnish Sauna and massages.
Canazei alo has squash courts. There are fitness centres in Moena and Campitello; bowling in Alba; and the "Gianmario Scola" indoor ice stadium at Alba. There is a new museum of Ladin culture in Pozza di Fassa
