Established in 1922 the Australian ski resort Mount Hotham lies at 1845 metres altitude in the Victoria region of the Australian Great Dividing Range. With the highest lifts and ski slopes below 2500m Mount Hotham ski area is not snow sure. Over 40 snow cannons ensure artificial Mount Hotham snow making covers 10km of ski trails, which equates to around 5 of the ski slopes. The nearest airport transfer to Mount Hotham (Australia) is Melbourne at a distance of 360km or approximately 250 minutes driving time. Mount Hotham ski season runs from June to October.
