There's plenty to do off the slopes round Mayrhofen. Centre piece is probably the modern Fun Pool complex which features sauna, massage, whirlpool, crazy river and children's area with aqua slide. Several of the major hotels have pools and fitness studios open to the public. The Relaxcenter in the Hotel Elisabeth provides body styling and, in their beauty farm, facials and body treatments using the latest scientific methods. The Cosmetic Studio in the Rieser Malzer is also well known for its beauty treatments.
On the slopes both the Zillertal Action Club and Mountain Sports Zillertal offer tubing, snow rafting and toboggan evenings (there are two natural runs, each 2.5km - one and a half miles long). Paragliding is very popular in the resort, year round. In addition there's a cinema, an ice rink with three curling lanes, 45km (30 miles) of cleared walks and other events organised such as horse races, ski parties and ski acrobatics shows.
