Madonna di Campiglio has first rate off-slope sporting facilities. They include beauty centres, some incorporating gymnasiums, massage services and more hi-tec, or specialised, health, beauty and fitness equipment and techniques. Other facilities include three games arcades and a cinema showing Italian films, and there is a library. Outdoors it is possible to take a scenic flight, snow shoeing, paragliding or ice climbing. Madonna has more than its fair share of unique social events, including the vintage car rally on snow every January and the Habsburg Carnival each February. There's an artificial ice rink in Pinzolo, which also has a winter riding school. An 'Artistic Itinerary' touring the churches of the Rendena Valley, which include frescos by Bascheni from the first half of the fifteenth century, is possible and the local museum - possibly unique in ski resorts - is a war museum.
